Samrong Bay

Samrong Bay, or the Secret Beach, is accessed 5 km from the Koh Samui international airport operated by Bangkok Airways which has direct flights from Bangkok, Phuket, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong. Thai Airway has daily services from Bangkok to Suratthani, on the mainland. From the mainland to Koh Samui by ferry (Speed ferries from Suratthani to Nathon operate in December). Samrong Bay, the Secret Beach is 7 km from Chaweng Beach.

Samrong Bay is a miraculously removed and private beach on Koh Samui that allows for privacy and space, while still being in reach of the main entertainment areas of the island.

Arayaburi Boutique Resort is to be found at Samrong Bay, located in the north of Koh Samui. The village is ideal to escape from the crowd. The 'dry' season is from January till May and July through to September. Temperatures regularly reach 30 to 35 degrees till May and then 35 to 40 degrees till September with odd showers from July to September.

The 'wet' season is from mid October to mid-end December when temperatures are around the 25 to 30 degree mark. Brief tropical rain showers may occur late December and early January.
