surpasses any of the luxury hotels or resorts

We had a wonderful stay at the Manola. The property, the staff and Nick are absolutely amazing. I'm a frequent traveler and spend more than 100 days each year in hotels and resorts. The experience and value offered by Manola surpasses any of the luxury hotels or resorts that I've been to.
The view was spectacular. Its modern architecture style and decor were what attracted me on the web site. Even though the property perches over the hill side and therefore doesn't have direct access to a beach, the little path down to the rocky seaside is beautiful. We have to agree with other reviewers that the cooking by the staff is just as good as any top restaurants at a 5 star resort. After dining out a few times, we all decided to stay in. We have 4 kids between the age 3 to 6 in the traveling party. You can imagine the mess and trouble they can cause. The staff was extremely patient cleaning after them.
Nick was super helpful arranging the rental car, calling taxis when we need it, helping us find out about the Thai boxing venue etc etc.
The property was exactly as described on the web site and the booking process was very straight forward.
The treadmill at the Manola isn't working and I took the liberty to contact Technogym hoping it was just a software issue they could help me resolve. I have forwarded you the email correspondence I had with support at Technogym and hope you can get it fixed for the next guest.

Our stay in Vila Manola was a wonderful experience.
The staff were warm and welcoming and so meticulous in their service that we were very sad to leave their company. Tong and Tuan were so lovely, we will greatly miss Tong’s famous banana muffins and Tuan’s culinary skills far exceeded some of the premium restaurants in the area. Ann was exceptional at managing everything we could possibly need for our time in Samui which freed up our time to enjoy the island.
The amenities and facilities of the property were exceptional and the attention to detail was evident in the fittings and fixtures. Overall the whole group was impressed with the residence.
My only complaint is that there were issues with the lighting in the bedrooms. On several occasions the lights would not brighten past a dim setting which made it difficult to use the bathrooms/read at night. Whilst a maintenance man was called to fix the problem, we continued to have issues with lighting for the duration of our stay in both the master bedroom and upstairs rooms. In light of the wonderful experience we had this was a small issue, but worth noting to have repaired for future guests.
The villa far exceeded our expectations as the site can’t fully showcase how stunning the villa is.

I would never go back to stay in a resort

This is the second time I have been to Koh Samui and my first stay in a villa, after this I would never go back to a resort.
The food, service and villa was amazing.
You are certainly lucky to have such great staff working for you in Toon and Tony, they made the stay most pleasurable.

We were in Villa Manola December 2010. The villa was great and everything else was too great.Lee,Nick and all staff was wery friendly and nice.The villa was better than we expectid.There was plenty of room for 7 persons. Internet,private pool,sunbeds,breakfast and all meals,rooms,entertainment systems,steamroom,furniture in the villa etc.was 100% taken care. Little Gem in paradise

Fantastic experience during the time we stay at Villa Manola. The breathtaking panoramic view from the villa especially during the full moon make it to be one of the most romantic place in Thailand. The sound of wave at night time seems like music from the heaven while we are sleeping and looking to the sea from our bedroom. Adam and his staff are also helpful as they cook termidor lobster which the taste can be competed to 5 stars restaurants in the world. We really have a wonderful time and will certainly be back. We stayed at Villa Manola December 2010/ January 2011. What a wonderful experience! It all started with our arrival at the beautiful Koh Samui airport - guaranteed to make you feel in a holiday mood from the moment you step off the plane! We were greeted in person at the airport by Nick, the villa manager, even though it was after 10pm! We were whisked off in a comfortable shuttle bus (pre-arranged by the villa management) and arrived at Villa Manola within 20 minutes. Tong and Toon, the permanent staff at the villa, were at the door to welcome us with bows and warm greetings, a wonderful characteristic of Thai culture that always makes visitors feel so welcome. The entrance to Villa Manola is breathtaking as you walk down the staircase looking out over the Gulf of Thailand. It was dark when we arrived, looking out we could see the night lights of Chaweng to the North. Below, the colourful glow of lights from the pool, reflecting on the lavish entertainment area, the gentle noise of the fountain in the khoi pond, creating a party atmosphere in the warm night air. We could not help staring in amazement at the shear beauty of the place. The space is awesome – plenty of room everywhere to stretch out and relax, whether inside the generous rooms or in the living/entertainment area or out on the pool deck. The rooms have all the trimmings one expects to find in a 5 star establishment, finest quality linen, large comfortable beds. Our only gripe was that the aircon in the main bedroom had to be turned down as it got too cold! In the mornings, as we awoke we were greeted by the morning sun fighting to get in past the thick curtains. Opening the doors to the private balcony one has endless views out across the Gulf. Villa Manola is positioned above the rocks and this makes the views unforgettable! Lying in bed looking out at the azure sea! The villa has WiFi, so after checking in with the real world via my laptop (from bed, looking out at the sea!), we lazily got up each day and wondered through to the breakfast area where Toon and Tong had quietly created a feast for us. Fruit carved into all sorts of shapes – and differently each day – to just about any form of breakfast we could think of was offered. Regarding catering, all we had to do was make an arrangement with the staff beforehand and they took care of the rest – from shopping to preparing, serving and cleaning up. Always discreet, respecting our space. What a team! We rented a scooter from one of the nearby rental outlets. Car hire and taxi options a plenty too, easily accessible from the Villa. Getting to and from any spot on the island is really convennient. The only problem we encountered was heavy traffic on some of the roads at certain times, but we were there in the prime tourist season so understandable. There are lots of things to do on the island - all within easy reach from the villa. Our biggest dilemma was whether to stay at the beautiful private pool deck with everything “on tap”, or “slum it” on the beautiful beaches of Chaweng 5 minutes to the North, or equally beautiful Lamai 5 minutes to the South, or explore all the many other options! Some of Samui’s best restaurants are close by the Villa too, making eating options really easy. All in all an unforgettable experience! The place, the staff and the management are all awesome!
