Hi,
I would like to say we had a very enjoyable stay at the villa, each guest said they fully enjoyed the service, location and facilities and we have been recommending the villa to all our friends and family.
A little expensive but worth it. The mountainside location was great with amazing views but the taxis were quite expensive to get us home. The staff were great, knew when to leave us alone and were also around to help with cooking etc.
Overall we think the villa was better than described on the website and we hope that we can stay with you again.
Cheers

Just a short note to say a big thank you to you both and especially to the very special people that work for you that made our stay so pleasant. The Grand View is simply amazing and was only just eclipsed by Jeab, Dtoo, Mon who are amazing kind people, some of your best staff you have I’m sure!
So from my group of close friends and family to your team we say thank you and see you next year for sure! I have already started to look at where to stay next year!! I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to find such accommodation.
Thanks again and we will keep in touch

Dear Lee
Just arrived to NYC an hour ago, headed back to Florida in the morning. Just want to let you know how we enjoyed the villa. It defintiely lived up to more than our expectations, absolutely spectacular. Hope to return next year.
I've been all over the world, many spectacular places - what impressed us the most was the staff. So kind and could not do enough for us. Almost embarassing they are so kind. I wanted to bring a couple of glasses over to the kitchen that the kids had used but they made it clear that that was their job! Wonderful people and good grief what great cooks. The food was awesome. Thank you so much Lee, Sincerely, Harriet.

Hello,
Yes we are now home after a wonderful stay at the Baan Grand View and I am very happy to give feedback on our stay. The property is beautiful, everything to a very high standard. We particularly enjoyed the outside bathrooms and the fantastic infinity pool. The only reason I am not giving it a 10 is because with a 5 bedroom villa I think it would be a good idea if at least one of the rooms had two single beds or two queen beds rather than king sizes in every room. For our party this would have been better and single beds can always be put together to make a double but it is not possible to split a double.
Amazing views but a little difficult to get up and down from the villa. All the staff were fantastic, so friendly, warm, helpful, kind they couldn't do enough. Particularly the live-in staff.
In house chefs were fantastic. It was the best food we ate whilst on Koh Samui. Food was delicious, fresh, beautifully presented and good portion sizes. I can't speak highly enough about the staff and the food.
The property was even better than described on the website. A truly fantastic place to stay. The booking process was fairly easy. I think the credit card charges are a bit on the high side though, particularly Amex. But overall and particularly good value when it came to eating at the villa.
I can highly recommend the Baan Grand View to anyone, it's a wonderful villa with the most amazing views of Koh Samui. The staff at the property are fantastic and it's a superb place to relax, have fun, or party!

The Baan Grand View is a high-end luxurious villa, which we booked as the second week of a two week stay on Koh Samui.
The first thing to say is that you do need a car/taxi to get to and from the villa. It is perched on a hillside (hence the stunning views), and the road up from Bo Phut is a bit like a rollercoaster. It only takes about 10 minutes to get from the villa to the town and the sea at Bo Phut, so it is convenient, but you do need a car or take a taxi/minibus.
The staff at the villa seemed genuinely very happy, extremely helpful, and all the food, both Thai and Western prepared by them was simply fantastic.
Note that the way into the villa from the road involves walking up several flights of stairs, so would not be any good for anyone with walking difficulties.
The bedrooms and bathrooms, on the first floor were very comfortable, and each had full floor to ceiling glass, so the incredible views were always visible.
The ground floor consisted of a huge open living area/kitchen/dining room that ran the whole length of the villa. This was a real benefit of the villa - the whole living area opened out onto a sunbathing patio and the pool. The infinity pool was also wonderful, and was a great place to wallow/swim if the heat became too much.
At the end of the pool was another dining area that was like a large Tiki-hut. We used this a few times, and the staff were happy to set up and serve the meals there rather than the dining room.
Nearby Bo Phut is a bustling town, with a an area called Fishermans Village that has many interesting shops/bars/restaurants, and on the Friday evening we were there the roads were closed to traffic and the roads are lined with market stalls selling drinks (50 Bht / cocktail), freshly cooked food, and all sorts of clothes/souvenirs/gifts etc, all at very reasonable prices. Chaweng beach was about 15 minutes away by car, and the airport about the same, so it was pretty well situated. Would we stay there again? - definitely!
