wonderful week

nicolas constant - January 8th, 2009

Dear Richard,

First let me offer you my best wishes for this new year, may it brings you all that you wish for.

My friends and I had a wonderfull week at Lacosta (despite of the weather which unfortunately wasn't on our side).

The house was as we expected and Kitty and the staff have been really helpfull throughout our stay, do forward them our regards.

Unfortunately now is time to get back to work and to the "real" life but i am sure we will be back soon and be assured i will give your adress to my friends. As a matter of fact, we so much enjoyed our time in Samui that we are now thinking to acquire some estate as well!

Best Regards,

NC

I can't wait to come back

Linda J. Wallace - October 31st, 2008

Dearest Kitty and Mr. Sals:

I am back home in Phoenix, Arizona after a wonderfully magical visit at the Al Lacosta Villa.

Khun Kitty, I can't thank you enough for your hospitality and generous and kind spirit.  Your caring heart if so evident in all you do to please your guests and make their stay as wonderful as possible.  I thank you so much for your personal attention you showed me and being such a great tour guide of your beautiful island paradise.  I can't wait to come back.

With fond regards to you and Mario,

Linda

We loved our stay

Jerry L Starkey - May 10th, 2008

We loved our stay with Al Lacosta.
Me and my wife had the place all to our selfs. It s a very quiet setting and romantic. For the price it s a steal.

peaceful side of the island

John Belonick - March 2nd, 2008

This is the peaceful side of the island and this is as relaxing a place as you will find. The management team is very friendly and efficient. Lots of pleasant surprises. Like ordering dinner at breakfast - no menu - just what would you like for dinner and at what time Dinner is definately the best part of this hotel. You cannot walk away hungry.
The hotel/rooms are not without their charm. Clean, open and airy. This place is not like a normal hotel.
It s more like staying at your best friends house. 3 Star at best but I would rather stay here than a 5 Star in Chaweng. Not near the beach.
Rental car a must.

We enjoyed our stay

we looking to enjoy Samui from off the beaten track. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would choose to stay there again if we returned to Samui.

The perfect place to stay

Andy Salisbury - October 24th, 2006

The perfect place to stay if you don t want to be in the noisy, touristy areas. Tenuta La Costa is delightful. Its set in an area of coconut plantations and is isolated from almost everything. All you can hear is the wildlife.
Mario (owner) and Kitty (hotel manager) are the two most hospitable people we have ever met - nothing is too much effort. We were dropped off and collected from the airport and also to/from town.
The bungalow we stayed in was scrupulously clean, the mossie screens 100% effective and the hot water was hot. Everything worked as it was supposed to including the wireless internet - which stretched out to our bungalow.
The cost of staying here is modest but the service/facilities and all other aspects are outstanding. I have no hesitation in recommending Tenuta La Costa to anyone including those with children - our son Jasper was doted upon from start to finish.
Thanks
Mario and Kitty.

wonderfull time

SEBOUAI STEPHANE - September 21st, 2006

We had a wonderfull time in this resort. A quiet place where we felt like being in paradise and at the same time being at home thanks to the kindness of the people who took care of us: Mario the director and kitty the manager.
The room was very comfortable and big. we will certainly return to this place!!!!

it's a secret i will share

Tom Burnhill - April 24th, 2006

what can i say ,if i tell too many people how wonderful this place is. the price might go up or i will not be able to get back in. still its a secret i will share . the place , food , service, were first class, but most of all the people were wonderful. so kind and welcoming. sometimes its the place, the room, the food, maybe the location, or the people. well with the tenuta la costa it was all of these, it was wonderful. the owner and staff were fantastic, and made us feel so special. a great place to stay, warm and friendly i cant speak highly enough will return

beautiful resort

Nathan Roulson - January 6th, 2006

...a beautiful resort, tucked away in the nicest corner of the island (Lamai is like Benidorm!). The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, and emphasized that we should treat the place like home and feel at home. Outstanding food - better than the outrageously expensive Poppies restaurant).
A truly memorable vacation.
